According to the International Labor Organization (ILO) “in most of the regions and employment areas women are paid less than men for the similar jobs. Women’s salaries are on average 70-90% of men’s wages.” According to the European Commission’s statistics of 2014 women’s remuneration in the EU states was on average 16.4% less than the salaries of the male employees. What is the situation in Georgia in terms of equal pay for men and women?
