With the financial support of the USAID, non-Governmental organization “Article 42 of the Constitution” is implementing the project “Promoting Gender Equality in Employment.” The goal of the project is the promotion of gender equality and women’s economic empowerement at all stages of labor relations. The above project consist of the multi-complex activates, including the development of the model policy for the employers and public policy makers. To this end, the organization team seeks to cover all aspects of labor relations, including the ones left out of the public interest and somewhat marginalized. Pre-contractual relations is the main provider of the leading practical element of the labor rights. In this regard, the fairness of the process has an important impact on the full realization of the above right. Alongside the development of technologies, the importance of the research and analyses of the new, modern methods of employment is growing. It is equally important for the interests of the employers and the potential employers.

The survey serves the research of the alternative methods for choosing the potential employees for the specific vacant position. The aim of the study is to examine the use of social networks by the employers in the process of selecting the candidates. Namely, how often and to what end do the employers use the information regarding the specific candidate placed in social networks.

The information obtained will be used in the framework of the research foreseen by the project.
