News: 'Equality at Workplace' All News

On 8 September, at 15:00, the seminar on the topic of “Equality in Employment” will be held in the conference room of the Democratic Engagement Centre.

The following topics will be discussed during the seminar: pre-contractual relations while hiring, pregnancy and maternity leave, equal pay, promotion and harassment-free working environment.

During the seminar, Article 42 of the Constitution will also address the policy document prepared in the framework of the project “Promoting Gender Equality in Employment.” The above document covers the methods of promoting equality at workplace and the ways of their practical implementation. These recommendations are submitted to the Parliament and have successfully passed the committee hearings. Only initiation is left at this stage.
